CURRENT NEWS LETTER

Our dear Praying Friends,

Christian greetings to you all.
Thank you for all your encouraging letters received during these months.

In our state of Tamil Nadu, we had a very hot summer this year. The temperature went up to 117° F. Now the monsoon has started and we are having some showers. This year few children went off from this Home and 9 new children were admitted. Now there are 52 Children (17 boys & 35 girls ) under our care. 

There are 8 aged people in Bethany Gardens. On 11th May, my eldest son Isaac was dedicated to the Lord's ministry. 6 presbyters laid their hands on him and more than 300 people gathered and prayed for him in the divine service. Now he will go for 3 years degree course and then to his Theological studies. Please continue to pray for him. My eye sight is improving and I give below some particulars for you to PRAISE AND PRAY:

1. Apart from our 52 Home children, we were able to give Scholarships to 20 more poor children.

2. 8 Norwegian friends visited us during February and sponsored few projects which are very essential.

3. During these three months, I have visited 36 villages and presented the Gospel by door to door and met nearly 2,800 people.

4. Apart from village work, Lord used me powerfully in many churches by presenting HIS words.

5. We have started a new children's work at Annur village at Gundlupet and more than 45 children are attending the Bible class every Sundays.

6. On 6th July the newly extended St. Peter's Church was rededicated at Gundlupet. Another marvelous support by Mrs.Effie Joyce of St.Simon Zelotes, London.

7. On 12th July, the Lord used me in a one day fasting prayer meeting at Cherambadi.

8. Rejoice with me that all our children have promoted to higher classes. This is the 7th subsequent year of 100% pass.

9. On 13th July, 4 persons were baptized at Bethany. Please pray for the new souls.

10. Selvarani is now back to normal and studying in 9th standard with a new life.

11. A Tailoring class has been started at Bethany. 10 girls from villages attending the class daily.

12. Two more new staff has been appointed at Happy Home.


Please also praise for you and the time you have allotted for us in God's presence we do value your prayers and fellowship.
