Development is one aspect that can not be over looked when an Institution strives for progress. So 15 acres of barren land was purchased at the border of TamilNadu & Karnataka states which is 80 Kms away from the Happy Home.

Many development aspects took place during the last four years. Now the barren land has been changed into a beautiful agricultural farm. 

"A GARDEN LIKE EDEN"

This farm is a real assert to The Happy Home. We cultivate Rice, Maize, Pulses, Onion etc., for the upkeep of The Happy Home and aged home. Jesus during His life time used to visit Bethany and took rest whenever He got time. Likewise we feel His presence always at Bethany Gardens.

After much prayer a Mercy Home for the aged and elderly people had been started at Bethany gardens. The Home is run by much difficulty. We don't have any funds to run this Mercy Home. However the Lord Almighty Provides everything. 

Though the age limit for admission has been fixed as 65 years, we have to admit people who are less than 65 years. Destitute and abandoned aged both male and female are admitted in this Home. They live happily to-gather. The fear of the future had vanished and any one can see a great joy in their faces. Now there are 10 inmates in the Home. For the past 3 years, 5 of the beloved elders have gone to be with the Lord and they were buried in the same premises where half an acre of land has been set apart for Cemetery. A beautiful church has been constructed by the generous donation of Joyce, Chelsea, London.

The church was dedicated to the Glory Of God on 14th Jan 2002 which has been named as " THE CHURCH OF GOOD SHEPHERD ".
